Images have always been central to Le Figaro Magazine since its creation in 1978. Photographs inform, shed light, and speak the universal language of emotion. The great names of photo-reporting have captured the brutal events and tragedies of the times for our readers, but they have also depicted moments of happiness and nuggets of progress. Olivier Grunewald is one of those people: as one of the magazine’s travel companions, he has recounted our planet’s natural upheavals. With ORIGINES, Olivier shows how humans must learn to find their way back to the heart of nature. We can only accompany him, once again, through this exhibit, at a time when our ecosystem is threatened, now more than ever.
