Olivier Grunewald

photographer, videographer

Olivier Grunewald has been a photographer for more than 35 years, a film maker and a drone pilot. The image is for him a means and a goal to immerse himself in the heart of the forces of the Earth creation and to sink into the intimate world of animal life. His work, notably on sea turtles, northern lights and volcanoes, has been awarded four times by the World Press Photo contest. His reports and books are published in many countries. To highlight the beauty of our planet, is for him, a permanent quest.

Bernadette Gilbertas

journalist, writer

From geography, which she studied and then taught at the University, to ecology, which she practiced for ten years, while directing the Rhône-Alpes Federation for the Protection of Nature in Lyon (now FNE-Rhône), Bernadette Gilbertas passion for nature led her to travel the world alongside Olivier. The articles, books, documentaries, exhibitions, and educational writings of this convinced activist plead in favor of the protection of natural environments and of these men and women with a big heart, scientists or enthusiasts, who dedicate their lives to it.

Gorongosa

the park of reconciliation

Gorongosa national park, Mozambique

By 1992, Gorongosa had lost 95% of its wildlife. Today, the national park is emerging from its ashes. Behind this miracle, the dynamism of the ecosystems and the collaboration between the Mozambican government and an American philanthropist around an idea: to make the protected area an engine of development for the local populations.
